Types of Fees on Udora

There are several types of fees on the platform:

  1. Udora fee for receiving funds from users (Internet acquiring)
This is a fee for internet acquiring, allowing customers to pay by bank card from anywhere in the world. The fee is outlined in the tariff scale and is set at 3%.
  2. The minimum amount of bonus points awarded by the Seller to Users refers to the minimum number of bonus points that sellers grant to customers, depending on the item category. Bonus points are designed to incentivise repeat purchases. When customers buy items from your shop, they earn points that encourage them to return. These points can also be redeemed in your store or any other Udora shops that are part of the bonus programme.
  3. Udora fee for providing the Services — The fee amount also depends on the product category. To find this information, go to the tariff scale for your country and check the relevant section in the table.

Please note: By default, bonus points for customers are enabled only in two categories: "Flowers" and "Live Plants". The minimum amount of bonus points is specified in the tariff scale for each item category. Additionally, any seller can increase the bonus amount for customers at their discretion. This can be adjusted in the "Progress" section of the seller's personal account.

The scale also includes a fourth column, which specifies the minimum fee for joining the WowPass programme. For more details about what WowPass is and how to accurately calculate the reward amount, check out another article in our Blog.

How to Calculate Commision on Udora: Formulas

We’ll explain how to calculate commission on Udora, but please note: the formulas and examples provided below do not account for the use of promo codes or discounts. This information is general and applies to sellers across all categories. If a customer places an order in your shop and partially pays with a promo code, Udora will compensate that amount as part of our loyalty programme. For more details on how compensation works and how payouts are calculated, please refer to our article.

  1. Udora fee for receiving funds from Users (Internet acquiring) is calculated using the following formula:
Total order amount + delivery cost
  2. The minimum amount of bonus points awarded by the Seller to Users — the commission for bonus points credited to the customer — is calculated based on the price of the item ordered by the customer using this formula:
    (Item price × bonus percentage) / 100%
  3. Udora fee for providing the Services — the commission is calculated solely on the item’s price excluding any discounts.
(Item price excluding discounts × commission percentage) / 100%

How to Calculate the Total Commission: Example

Let’s break down an example to show how to calculate the total commission for a flower shop in sunny Spain. Please note that this is just a sample calculation for demonstration purposes and not an actual one. Keep in mind that commission rates may vary depending on the product category and country.

The shop La Floristería on Udora received an order for $100, with delivery costing $10. The total purchase amount is $110. The shop also offers customer bonuses of 3%. Let’s break down the main expense items:

  1. Acquiring Fee: The fee for processing payments is calculated as 3% of the total order amount, including delivery. In this case: (100 + 10) * 3% = $3.30.
  2. Platform Fee: The main platform commission is 14% of the product price, excluding delivery. Calculation: 100 * 14% = $14.
  3. Bonuses: The order includes awarding bonuses of 3% of the product price to the customer. Calculation: 100 * 3% = $3.

Total: From the order amount of $110, the total commission is: 3.3 + 14 + 3 = $20.30. ТNow that you’ve learned how to calculate the commission, you can determine your profit using this formula:

Seller’s Profit = (Product Price + Delivery Fee) – Fixed Fees – Variable Commission – Customer Bonuses.

Here’s how the calculation would look for our example:

$110 – $14 – $3.30 – $3 = $89.70.
