Chamaedorea elegans, the neanthe bella palm or parlour palm, is a species of small palm tree native to the rainforests in Southern Mexico and Guatemala. The parlor palm is one of the most extensively sold houseplant palms in the world. It is one of several species with leaves that are harvested as xate.
Care Guide
Your Chamaedorea should be watered weekly, just check the soil in between waterings to make sure it doesn't get too dry. Direct sunlight is a bit too much for this plant. That's why it's best placed in a bright room with indirect light, unlike some of it leafy friends it will also tolerate low light levels.
