Sansevieria (Snake Plant) Care Guide Light Bright, indirect light is best. Tolerates low light but avoid harsh direct sun. Water Let soil dry out completely between waterings. Water every 2–4 weeks in summer, less in winter. Avoid overwatering. Temperature & Humidity Ideal 18–27°C (65–80°F). Keep above 10°C (50°F). Normal home humidity is fine. Soil & Pot Use well-draining cactus/succulent soil. Pot must have drainage holes. Fertilizer Feed lightly with succulent fertilizer in spring–summer (once every 1–2 months). Skip in winter. ✂Maintenance Wipe leaves to remove dust. Trim yellow/damaged leaves. Repot every 2–3 years. Extra Tips Toxic to pets if ingested. Great natural air purifier – releases oxygen at night.
