Ficus benjamina Samantha - easy to grow, which makes it a relatively popular plant. It is one of the most commonly seen plants in apartments and offices. Given the right conditions, it can reward you with strong but slow growth - indoors it can reach impressive sizes (even up to 2 m) and resemble a small tree. Its main ornamental feature is the small, oval-pointed leaves that take the shape of a falling raindrop, with white-and-green coloring, as well as its slender, light-brown trunk. Sometimes the plant produces more drooping shoots, which makes it even more attractive.

Growing Secrets: A sunny location, but not in direct sunlight (slightly diffused light). Room temperature in summer, but in winter, it should not drop below 13-15°C (55-59°F). Water with soft water when the soil dries out – up to twice a week in summer, and once a week at most in winter (excess water from the saucer should be poured out). It likes misting with water, and it's a good idea to clean each leaf individually from time to time. We recommend fertilizing it once a month in spring and summer. It doesn't like being moved, so it's best to keep it in a permanent location. We recommend repotting it every year or two into loose, well-drained soil.
